Our History
At Academics for Athletes, we believe in the power of education and sports to unlock opportunities and achieve success. We prioritize academic support and resources, providing afterschool programs and resources that help our students succeed in school and pursue higher education. Our mentorship programs help students develop valuable life skills such as leadership, teamwork, and perseverance.

Our mission is to empower students to achieve their full potential, both academically and personally, through programs such as School Inreach, Street Outreach, College Tour, and mentorship. We strive to bridge the significant gaps in social services faced by low-income families in the Greater Sacramento area and create a brighter future for our community.
